Coach Dre Brooks enters his 3rd season with the Jaguars serving as the Varsity Defensive Line Coach.
Coach Brooks began his coaching Career at High Point High School, Serving as the Associate Head Coach & Defensive Line Coach from 2019-2022, where he developed a reputation for building strong, disciplined Defensive Line units. During Brooks’ tenure, High Point High School Saw three 1st Team 4A South All-County Selections on the Defensive Front (Isaac Bunyun, Chibuikem Oguayo, Kofi Amoatin). As well as their first Crab Bowl Selection in EDGE Alijah Miller in 2022. All recieving Athletic Scholarships to continue their careers at the Collegiate Level. Brooks was also part of helping the Eagles’ Reach its first Playoff appearance in over two decades in 2021.
Coach Dre’s success at High Point eventually brought him back to his alma mater, C.H. Flowers High School, where he continues to elevate the defensive front with his energy, technique-driven coaching style, and player-first mentality. During Brooks first two seasons, Five Jaguars Received 4A South All-County Honors on the Defensive Line. In 2024 a pair of Jags (Reginald Hill & Julius Valentine) were All-State Selections, & DE Julius Valentine received All-Met Honors as well. Brooks also Helped a 2023 C.H. Flowers Defense Finish ranked #2 Overall in the State of Maryland under Defensive Coordinator Marsalis Jackson. In 2024, the Jaguars Defense Finished Top 10 in the State of Maryland, and made it to the Final Four of the State Championship Tournament.
Coach Brooks brings a wealth of knowledge both as a former collegiate athlete and as a rising coaching talent having over 20+ years of combining experience under his belt.
The Glenarden native Played at C.H. Flowers HS from (2006-2010), Where he started on the Defensive Line, helping the Jaguars to Two County Championships (2006,2009), and Two Regional Championship appearances (2008,2009). He began his Collegiate Career At Stevenson University, Being part of the University’s Inaugural Recruiting Class in 2010, as Stevenson was set to begin their Inaugural Season in 2011. Brooks Spent one year at Stevenson before Finishing his career at Coppin State University (2012-2014), Where he Helped Coppin State win Two NCFA National Championships (2012,2013). Brooks Finished his Career with 90.5 Tackles & 13.5 Sacks.
