Since joining the Charles Herbert Flowers High School football program in the 2016–2017 season, Coach Frederick Groves has played an integral role in the team’s transformation into one of the region's premier high school football powerhouses. As the Assistant Head Coach and position coach for outside linebackers and safeties, Coach Groves brings a high level of expertise, discipline, and passion to the defensive side of the game.

A respected leader on and off the field, Coach Groves is known for his ability to develop student-athletes both athletically and personally. His coaching style emphasizes fundamentals, situational awareness, and mental toughness, preparing his players for success at the next level. His commitment to excellence has contributed to multiple playoff runs, a consistently dominant defense, and a culture of hard work and accountability within the Flowers program.
