Marques Brown – Quarterback Coach | Tech & Film Coordinator
Coach Marques Brown is a football coach with over two decades of experience developing student-athletes on and off the field. A proud product of Prince George’s County Public Schools, Coach Brown’s journey began at Northwestern High School, where he led the Wildcats to a county championship in 1998 and graduated in 1999. He continued his playing career at the collegiate level with Morgan State University, gaining valuable experience as a student-athlete.
From 2003 to 2018, Coach Brown returned to his alma mater, Northwestern High School, serving as a key member of the football coaching staff. During his 15-year tenure, he mentored countless players, emphasizing discipline, leadership, and fundamentals.
Since 2020, Coach Brown has brought his expertise to Charles Herbert Flowers High School, where he currently serves as the Quarterbacks Coach and Tech/Film Coordinator. Known for his ability to develop quarterbacks with a high football IQ, Coach Brown also integrates technology and film analysis into player preparation—helping athletes understand the game at a deeper level.
Coach Brown is passionate about mentorship, performance, and preparing young men for success both on the field and in life. His coaching philosophy centers around accountability, preparation, and consistency.
